We're looking to add a Web Designer to the Team.
Lead Web/Interface Designer
We're looking for someone talented in creating usable interfaces for the web. Education and experience are less important than good design, clean code, and a creative drive.
You'll be imagining, designing, then implementing user interfaces (like this one) and other components for our growing network of web applications used by commercial real estate brokers across the country.
Philosophical Musts:
- Committed to meticulous, pixel-perfect, organized design for web
- Strong, demonstrated belief in the importance of standards for the web
- Strong belief in the importance of usability, formal usability background a plus
Technical Musts:
- Deep understanding of XHTML/CSS, including CSS-based layout
- Ability to author good, clean, efficient XHTML/CSS by hand
- Solid understanding of dynamic, database-driven web design
- JavaScript/AJAX knowledge a plus
- Exposure to Java/JSP's a plus
Creative Musts:
- Solid understanding of information architecture, user interface design, and visual design theory and practice
- Experience and understanding of the various platform constraints, web technologies, browser versions and other digital delivery platforms
- Proficient with standard design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
